Are You a Candidate for Body Contouring?

As you look in the mirror, are you unhappy with your body even after you’ve lost weight — especially those key trouble spots? Perhaps extra fat seems to linger on your belly, or maybe it’s around your thighs or love handles. Today’s modern body contouring technology enables you to get rid of those trouble spots without invasive surgery.

Rel L. Gray, MD, focuses his practice on highly successful medical weight loss, and he uses the WarmSculpting™with SculpSure® body contouring system to help patients get rid of lingering unwanted fat in specific body areas — with an average 24% reduction in fat.

About WarmSculpting with SculpSure body contouring treatments

Cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration in 2015, the SculpSure system was introduced as the world’s first noninvasive “warm” laser treatment to break down fat. The treatment works well in smoothing out unwanted bulges in areas that just haven’t responded to diet and exercise alone. It works to eliminate fat in your:

Body contouring isn’t an immediate process. You begin to see results about six weeks after WarmSculpting treatment, with optimal results in 12 weeks.

Am I a candidate for noninvasive body contouring?

If you’re obese or significantly over a normal weight for your body type, WarmSculpting with SculpSure isn’t appropriate for you. It’s not a weight loss program.

However, if you’ve been succeeding on your weight loss journey and are at the end of that road, — at or near a healthy weight — it’s time to consider WarmSculpting treatments to target the trouble spots that haven’t responded to diet and exercise. This body contouring helps reveal your natural shape beautifully.

Most people can tolerate WarmSculpting with SculpSure with no side effects. However, you should not undergo these treatments if you have any of the following conditions:

Dr. Gray discusses your treatment goals with you to ensure they’re realistic. He provides-before and-after photos of patients who’ve been treated in the same areas you’re targeting so you know what to expect.

How does WarmSculpting with SculpSure work?

The patented laser technology heats fat cells that lie below the outer layer of your skin. Dr. Gray moves the special SculpSure laser device over the targeted area slowly during treatment. It’s painless, and each treatment lasts, on average, about 25 minutes.

The laser heats your subcutaneous fat to a high enough temperature to destroy the structure of those cells — without damaging your skin. Those cells disintegrate and are flushed out through your lymphatic system over a period of about three months.

Benefits of noninvasive body contouring

Body contouring without resorting to surgery has several key benefits.

No risky surgery

Having a tummy tuck or liposuction involves incisions, blood, sutures, anesthesia, and pain when the surgery is over. And anytime surgery occurs, there are associated risks of infection and other complications. Noninvasive body contouring with the SculpSure device is basically risk-free.

No recovery time

WarmSculpting treatments require no downtime for recovery, unlike surgery. Surgical body contouring involves time off work and is an interruption you may not be able to afford. Instead, you can have a WarmSculpting treatment during your lunch break and then return to work.

Minimal side effects

Whereas surgery requires recovery not only from your wound but also from anesthesia, noninvasive WarmSculpting body contouring treatments have minimal side effects that disappear quickly. You may notice some redness in the treated area, but it should dissipate within hours of your procedure.
